Recently Vladimir Putin the President of Russia visited India in Dec 2021, and India Russia Bilateral Summit took place between the head of two States via 2+2 Ministerial Meet, where 28 agreements in various domains were inked and a gamut of global and regional issues were discussed. India-Russia Joint Statement called ‘Partnership for Peace, Progress and Prosperity’ was issued.

- AK 203 Kalashnikov rifles deal worth nearly Rs 5,000 crore for production of over five lakh such rifles at Korwa in Amethi by an Indo-Russian joint venture.
