Mitosis
Mitosis is the process of cell division by which parent cell gives rise to two genetically identical daughter cells. Mitosis is divided into five phases : Interphase, Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, and Telophase. Mitosis is important for growth of organism by multiplication of cells and for replacement of dead and injured cells.
