Why in News
Recently Hon’ble Prime Minister of India as announced the roll back of the three farm laws against which farmers across the county have been staging protests. The farmers too have decided to return to their homes after an assurance given by the government.
The three Acts that have faced stiff opposition are:

- The Farmers’ (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurances and Farm Services Act, 2020
- Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020
