The boundary between India and China is not yet demarcated.

India follows the McMahon line agreed upon by British and Tibetan authorities in 1914 Shimla convention but China rejects the McMahon line citing that it was not a party to the convention.

So the end result is the boundary between India and China is not yet agreed upon ie demarcated between the two countries

China stakes claims over entire Arunachal Pradesh administered by India while it controls the Aksai Chin area claimed by India.
